Kimberly
attended college at UND Grand Forks and was a member of the
Gamma Phi Beta sorority and involved with dance and women’s

currently a Sales Manager of The Nycor Group, which is a contract
and search firm in Edina which specializes in placing quality

Kim was
a front row dancer/singer in a Barbershop chorus, City of
Lakes, which consistently placed in the top 5 Internationally

piano bars, and theatre. Kim currently performs as a torch
singer at Lili’s downtown Minneapolis as Kiki Labelle.
Kim became
interested in Klondike Kate when one of her customers, who
was a Vulcan, found out she was a performer and encouraged
her to check it out. She went and observed her first contest
in 1999 and was hooked. Kim loves to play dress up, entertain
and make people smile and what better way then to be Kate!
She also loves being involved with such a fun organization
like the Kate’s where she can perform solo and part
of a group. Being a part of the Kate sisterhood is really
special. During her reigning year, she made over 300 appearances
and traveled to Florida, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Canada, South
Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota with her Royal Family and Vulcan
Krewe. Since then, she has also judged some of the pageants
and is involved with the Rice Street Festival as the emcee
for their talent show. "Being Kate was one of the things I
cherish most in my life and I am so blessed to have this experience!
I know my life will never be the same." |
