Audra Weier grew up in Woodbury, MN and now calls Cottage Grove home. She started singing in her church's children's choir at age 7. She later studied voice and sang in high school choir.
As a little girl, Audra remembered seeing Klondike Kate in the Payne-Arcade Parades. In 2007 she was at Cottage Grove's Strawberry Fest and saw Darice, Klondike Kate 2007, and thought, "I wanna do that!" So, Audra asked Darice how to become a Klondike Kate and started to prepare. No one was more shocked than Audra that she had become Klondike Kate on her very first try! She is grateful to be part of such a wonderful sisterhood.
Audra loves to travel, her iPod and spending time with her niece and nephew, Maria and Riley. When she's not St. Paul's Sass Ambassador, Kate, you can find Audra at Davanni's where she has been a restaurant manager for many years.
